Where Are We Located

We are located in the heart of the Rockies, in beautiful Colorado, adjacent to the new satellite office of the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Denver. This scenic area is home to a thriving technology and research corridor, including Oracle, Google, Covidien and the Anschutz Medical Research facility. In addition, it is the home to many government agencies and government contractors such as Raytheon. Finally, there is the burgeoning business sector which supports an ever-growing cannabis business, especially in the area of specialty medicines for children suffering from epilepsy and other neurological diseases.

MANAGING PARTNER

The firm’s founding member, Mr. Lee G. Meyer is a registered patent attorney, licensed to practice in five states: Colorado, Wyoming, Ohio, Kentucky, and Texas. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has held the position of Chief Patent and Trademark Counsel for a Fortune 50 Company, where he was responsible for national and international intellectual property efforts and worldwide intellectual property strategic planning. Mr. Meyer has been a partner in international law firms, as well as a managing partner. He holds degrees in chemistry, as well as technology management and an MBA. Mr. Meyer was a senior aerospace systems engineer on the Apollo applications and the Skylab missions. He has taught graduate level intellectual property law and management systems, as well as technology management.

Mr. Meyer has extensive experience in intellectual property identification, counseling, valuation and protection, as well as all facets of domestic and foreign patent prosecution. He has prepared and negotiated international technology transfer and acquisition licenses and the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience in patent and trademark litigation. His practice area include business systems, telecommunication and internet, solid-state processing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, agricultural products (including herbicides and pesticides), mechanical devices, bio-tech, coatings, catalysts, metal alloys, emulsions and substrates.
